Character Essentials for October: We Have Feelings

Hello -,

Learning to recognize, express and manage feelings is critically important for children as they work to develop positive relationships in their lives. This month, the theme for our Character Essentials^SM curriculum is We Have Feelings. The goal is to help children identify and control their own emotions and develop a sense of empathy toward others.

We provide you with tips on how you can work with your child at home on managing their emotions and a list of recommended books on the subject you can read with your child.
