Introducing the Kiddie Academy Character Essentials Curriculum

This month we are introducing our new Character EssentialsSM curriculum. This is an important development in our ongoing commitment to incorporating the latest research and trends into our educational programs. Character Essentials is a completely revised and comprehensive program for infants through school-age children that our Academies began implementing this month. 

At Kiddie Academy® Educational Child Care, character education begins with our youngest learners. This new program offers specific support for the social and emotional development of children beginning in infancy. Character Essentials reinforces our commitment to the development of the whole child.

Character Essentials has 12 monthly themes, such as, We Are Friends, We Are Good Citizens and We Are Proud. Each theme introduces four character traits, meaning that during the course of a year, students learn about 48 different traits that support the overall program.
