When we travel through the Pyrenees Mountains in Cataluña, nothing is more comforting than a delicious butifarra for dinner, especially in wintertime. Our boutique sausage maker uses no preservatives at all - just top quality acorn-fed Ibérico pork, sea salt and Tellicherry black pepper.
Unlike chorizo, butifarra has no smoky red paprika. Instead it is seasoned with sea salt and pepper, allowing the full acorn-infused richness of the pork to shine through. Each bite is exceptionally juicy and flavorful. Grill over low heat or simmer in a cast iron skillet to experience one of the finest sausages we have ever tried.
