L.A. County prosecutors dismiss 66,000 marijuana convictions

Dist. Atty. Jackie Lacey has dismissed 62,000 felony convictions dating back to 1961 and 4,000 misdemeanor convictions in 10 cities across L.A. County, a move to undo decades of drug enforcement that disproportionately targeted people of color years after California voters legalized weed.
