If you're still looking for an extra special present for an extra special little person, time is running out. Our last order dates are at the bottom of this mail, but first here are a couple of reasons why you should order a Librio book. 1. We've donated over 10,000 books! On 1st November, we launched our More Than A Book campaign. Since then, we've donated over 10,000 books - one for every book we've sold. The books we donate via Room To Read go into specially-designed libraries to encourage children to engage with books and embrace reading as a path out of poverty. There's a picture below of one of these libraries from a project in Cambodia so you can have an idea of what kind of impact the books we donate make. So, when you buy a Librio book, you're not just giving a little person close to you a special book, you're also sharing that gift with children around the world. 2. Our books are best sellers! Based on the official book sales data for our home country, Switzerland, our new search-and-find book was the most-bought picture book in the country last month. Not only that, but it beat out a very strong contender into number two. Namely, our other book, The Tree, The Key & Me. So, whichever book you choose, you know you're in good company. 3. You can hide a gift within a gift When you make your search-and-find book, you can enter a secret message which is only revealed to the child once they've found all the numbers to make up the secret code. We're delighted to hear that some of you are being extra creative by hiding further gifts for the little ones within the secret message. E.g. "Congratulations for finding the secret code. As an extra bonus gift, you are invited to have an ice-cream with Aunty Jo and Uncle Simon on 3rd January 2019". Even if you're not feeling so creative, people love the idea that the dedication they write becomes an integral part of what the child needs to find in the book, making the message even more special and the book more unique. Here's how the secret code works: - Your little one solves the secret code by finding the hidden numbers on each page - They then write them in the back of the book and then go to librio.com/treasure to enter them into our website. - The message you wrote will then be revealed to them and they can print it, cut it out and stick it into the book to make it extra specially unique.
