Environmental feathers in our cap and wonderful newsletter imagery

Welcome to Librio's February Newsletter

What's in store:

- In February 2020, we set ourselves the challenge of improving our products' sustainability. We think we did well.

- Looking back at twelve months of our favourite newsletter images

- A classic book about owl babies lost in the woods

12 months on the road to maximum sustainability

In February 2020, we wrote an article saying how proud we were of our products’ sustainability but that we knew there was still room for improvement.

We love the challenge of creating products which will last the lifetime of a human but not the lifetime of our planet.

In this article, we look at how far we came last year - and the one thing we hope to achieve in 2021.

The image you see at the top of this newsletter is number 12 in a series giving you an insight into the parallel lives our forest animals live.

These images have been one of our highlights of the last 12 months, so we wanted to look back at what's been going on in the Librio forest since the world changed in March 2020.

12 months of forest life

Librio Library #20 - Owl Babies - Martin Waddell and Patrick Benson

Every month, we introduce one of our favourite books from Librio's own library, which we use as inspiration for creating our own books. This month: Owl Babies by Martin Waddell

If you've been paying any attention at all, you'll know we're pretty big owl fans at Librio (the clue was an article written by someone calling herself Mrs. Owl last month).

What, then, could be a more fitting book for Librio Library than this beautiful classic about three owl babies whose mother has abandoned them in the deep dark forest at night?
