Welcome to Librio's July newsletter

What's in store:

- Our book for newborns, "Welcome to the World", is now available in 9 new languages!

Welcome a newborn to the world in nine new languages

To celebrate the two year anniversary of our baby book, "Welcome to the World" being launched, we're happy to announce that we're releasing the book in nine (9) new languages, bringing the total to 18!

The new languages (Portuguese, Turkish, Dutch, Swedish, Catalan, Danish, Albanian, Norwegian and Luxembourgish) are spoken by 150 million people, so, surely you know someone who speaks one of them and would love a Librio book for their little one?

If you're a linguaphile, you can also try guessing which languages the following words for "Welcome' come from:
Benvingut, Wëllkomm, Dünya'ya, Bem-vindo, Välkommen, Mirë se erdhe

Some crafty summer holiday activities

Woo hoo! Summer's properly here! Only Lots More Weeks of entertaining the little Energiser Bunnies to go! To help keep them entertained for at least a little bit, we're very happy to provide you with this summer pack of Librio activities to print out and do at home.

Whether it's making a baby owl puppet or Printer Bear's tastiest sandwich, we can't guarantee that it'll keep them busy all summer long, but it should keep them entertained long enough to make yourself a glass of ice tea and have a little lie down in the sun.

Librio Library #25 - Dragon Post - Emma Yarlett

Every month, we introduce one of our favourite books from Librio's own library, which we use as inspiration for creating our own books.

In our baby book mentioned above, a dragon shows your little one around the wonderful world they've been born into. To celebrate the launch of our new languages, we thought it suitable to have a book about a dragon in Librio Library this month too.

Dragon Post is a wonderfully funny and innovative book about a boy who finds a dragon in his basement and has to figure out how to keep it (and himself) alive.
