Coping with chemo brain

Do you have difficulty concentrating, keep forgetting names and missing important dates? It might be chemo brain.

We anticipate the loss of certain things in the process of cancer treatment - hair, our sense of freedom or invincibility - but losing our mental edge is often unexpected and particularly unsettling.

What many consider an inside joke among cancer survivors is actually a very real condition characterised by loss of memory, an inability to multi-task, and difficulty concentrating.

So many of our members have either experienced chemo brain themselves or have a loved one who is trying to cope with it. But what exactly is chemo brain? Do we know what causes it? And is there anything we can do to help it?
