As we step into the new year, we're thrilled to share a preview of what's coming up at Makers Cabinet. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you new products, exciting events, and plenty of opportunities to connect with us in 2025. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s ahead!

Product Launches You’ve Requested
We’re listening to your feedback and are excited to announce several new products that have been in development:
- Iris Large Format: Available from early February, the Iris Large Format is 12cm in diameter and offers a greater circle range than the standard Iris. It comes with a cork wooden base to keep it safe and secure. A must-have for those who want more precision and versatility in their work!
- Iris Brass Base: For those looking to take their Iris tools to the next level, we’re releasing the Iris Brass Base in February. This new base will enhance precision and elevate your experience with the Iris tool.
- Ellipsograph: This Spring, we’re introducing the Ellipsograph, designed to help you draw perfect ovals with ease. We’re still fine-tuning the design and have been incorporating a variety of valuable feedback to ensure it’s exactly what you need.
- More products on the way: We’re also working on equal space dividers, a lightweight aluminum Ferrule, and a selection of specialist coloring pencils. Stay tuned for more details!

Repair Shops Are Back!
Our popular repair shops will continue throughout the year, with the next one scheduled for March (when the weather is a bit warmer!). Bring your tools by and let us help get them in tip-top shape. Other Exciting Events and Meetups
- Trade Show in the US: We’re headed to a trade show in the US this year and are eager to expand our presence in local shops. If there’s a shop near you where you think our tools would be a great fit, let us know! We’d love to make that happen.
- Washington DC Pen Show: We’re also planning a visit to the Washington DC Pen Show. If you’ll be there too, we’d love to connect! We’re organizing a meetup for some fun, beers, and brass, stay tuned for more details.
