Be Here Now - A mindfulness membership
Today I'm on a bit of a high as this morning I wrapped up over 3 months of free mindfulness Monday morning sessions. It has been such an honour and a privilege to teach and guide people through mindfulness sessions and the feedback has been brilliant. I'm overwhelmed with the messages I'm receiving of how the sessions helped people get through their day, how it helped them remain focused, and how it helped them deal with challenges that arose.

After all this feedback I've decided to open the Mindfulness membership again soon so that you can continue to feel guided and supported. On a weekly basis a bite sized piece of mindfulness will be delivered to your inbox for you to digest during the week. This is will be an audio explanation or a downloadable recorded mindfulness practice no more than 10 minutes long, all for €20 a month. To be added to the wait list please email me here

May I ask, how are you? Did you enjoy the last few months or maybe you didn't? Perhaps you loved the simplicity of life, the quietness and the witnessing of how mother earth was re-balancing herself. Or perhaps it was a challenge for you, perhaps you were fire fighting for all of us on the front line (a big thank you to you) and you're exhausted now.  Perhaps you experienced loss and you're finding it hard to cope now.

Whatever your experience, the energy of the summer solstice, lunar eclipse and 5 planets in retrograde is leaving a lot of people tired, emotional and feeling like they've just been through a storm.

And we kind of have - literally and emotionally.

So what can you do for yourself?

Relax and unwind if that's what you're craving. Give yourself permission to get into bed in the middle of the afternoon if you want & can. Cuddle up with a blanket and your favourite box set. we live in a world of constant doing and the more we do the more we need to rest, so write yourself a permission slip if you need to and rest! 

I often tell people NOT to set goals at New years - it's just not the right time to be doing this in the middle of winter. However, if you want, now is the right time. If this is you, then work away but for all of us, it's worthwhile to get out pen and paper and start with some reflection.

This will help you bring the learning from the last few months into your intentions for the next 6 months. Below I'm sharing with you some of the questions we reflected upon at the Summer solstice event I hosted online:

  • What did I learn from the first 6 months of 2020? Or from COVID 19?  What nuggets of gold did I find? 
  • What do I want to leave behind?  
  • What area of my life would I like to invite abundance into?
  • How would I like to meet the next 6 months until Winter Solstice?
  • What lights my fire (passion), where does it live inside me and what is its fuel?

The summer solstice is a time of gratitude and celebration. Now we are invited to bring these two practices into our lives or renew and refresh them.

Be Thankful

Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings

I was honoured to be asked to be interviewed as part of Brian Health Week at

Catherine had been talking to experts all week on how we can look after our brain health. She talked to a range of experts from GP's and Pharmacists to Psychologists and dieticians and they all said the same thing: when it comes to keeping your brain well and healthy, mindfulness has been proven over and over again to be one of the most effective preventative and coping tools you can have.

We had great fun chatting about all things mindfulness, why we often self sabotage, the seeds of mindfulness and much more. Stay tuned to the end for a bonus practice!
