After a strong start into second place, Piastri closed in on Leclerc on Lap 20, overtaking on the apex of Turn One in a thrilling display of precision and control.

Meanwhile, fans witnessed an exceptional recovery from Lando Norris – pulling it back from a starting position of 15th, passing Verstappen to finish in 4th, and scoring for the fastest lap.

This weekend’s victory takes McLaren to the top of the F1 Constructors’ Championship for the first time in over a decade – putting the Constructors’ title even more firmly within grasp, and raising the stakes for an exciting Singapore Grand Prix this weekend.
