How many kids do you have?
I have 2 daughters; my oldest is 9 years old and my youngest is 3 years old.
What's your favorite part about being in our Facebook Group?
I love being able to see the women in our group grow into their own power as mothers. It's such an honor to be a part of such a wonderful support system that helps moms flourish and thrive by lifting them up and reassuring them that they're doing such an amazing job.
If you could share one tip to new moms, what would you say?
It's okay to not know what you're doing. I had already done plenty of mothering by the time my youngest was born but the moment she was born, everything that I had learned previously with my oldest went right out the window and I felt like a first-time mom again. You will get into the swing of things; just take things one step at a time and before you know it, it'll seem like you've been doing it forever.
What are you most proud of?
How wonderful my girls are turning out. They don't know how to give up, they beat their own drums, and even though they're extremely strong-willed and bold, they are the kindest and most compassionate people I know. It makes me confident that once they get out into the world on their own, they're going to thrive and do so much with their lives.
What's something you're excited about?
Within the next year or two, we should be starting the process of building our own house! The land is in a very rural area so the plan is to essentially create a mostly self-sustainable farm. My husband and I have always talked about it but it's never been a reality until recently so I'm very excited.
