Hi ,

I’m forever grateful and strengthened by all of your support when times are tough. We’ve had some server issues and I can’t thank you enough for your support and patience. I  pinch myself when I realise I’m single-handedly in charge of a tech business! Me, a humble yoga practitioner who, seven years ago, foolheartedly said I wanted the practices and teachers which had so moved me, to be available to everyone, not just the few. 

When technology doesn’t work seamlessly, perhaps like you, it’s a bit of a struggle for me to cope with. I really do rely on all of your support to tide us through and get back on track, so thank you. And if any of you are having issues with the site, please just clear your cache (you can easily find instructions online on how to do this for your browser). . 

I do hope my story of how I, a humble corporate desk-jockey, gave up everything I knew, for a life of unknowns, facing daily challenges way outside of my comfort zone and any kind of expertise I’ve ever had. This  might inspire you to take courage and get a little stronger.

Perhaps when you think of my little journey over the last seven years, how my work is to know how websites work, this will hearten and strengthen you. Know that so you don’t wait to know the answers and you don’t wait to become an expert. You just get brave and go ahead with doing what you know, in your heart of hearts, you might just be able to do. It really is a risk worth taking.

But risks always need a certain type of strengthan inner sense of courage, grit and resilience. Our new Strength Challenge starts today. It’s a great challenge for more intermediate/experienced yogis to get some strength in their lives and practices. We’ll be on the Movers group on 30th June with a live Q&A with Adam Hocke. I really do hope you can join us then and for the Strength Challenge.

Our latest classes this week include a fiery one from Kristin designed to build strength in preparation for arm balances. Plus, two more philosophy classes from Vidya which may well encourage internal strength.

The second Yama is Satya, or truth. In this talk, Vidya explores this Yama and how we can interpret it as a means to be vulnerable, be our true selves and see the world subjectively.

The Third Yama: Asteya - Vidya Heisel

The third Yama is Asteya, which is non-stealing. This means we should not be taking for oneself other people's time, objects and ideas. Vidya also explores the idea of not coveting what others have and how we can practice the opposite of that.
