Apparently, London’s hotel scene wasn’t asleep during lockdown – while the world hibernated, the NoMad hotel group was colonising Covent Garden, reworking the historic Bow Street Magistrates Court’s car park, booking station and holding cells into a towering triple-height restaurant, a cooler-than-thou cocktail bar and 91 handsome bedrooms.
