Taishi Kiln

Taishi Kiln, founded in 2011 in Nonoichi City, Ishikawa Prefecture by Kutani ware artist Yamachika Yasushi, was established to express his unique artistic vision. As the fourth generation of Seizan Kiln potters, Yamachika incorporates traditional iro-e (overglaze polychrome enamels) techniques passed down through his family, while focusing on modern designs and practicality for everyday use.
