Good Morning! We wanted to remind you that MyParcelDelivery are now offering Pallet Delivery as part of it's service offering. We've had some great feedback so far which so thank you to all.

We've had a number of questions from those of you who are very keen to understand how these services work and consequently what need to do, to take advantage of the great prices these services can offer.

Whether you need to send your products in bulk to marketplaces you may work with, or indeed have a requirement to send that one big item that's just to big to send via a traditional parcel delivery.

Below we highlight what is required in order for you to book your delivery successfully.

Book a Pallet Delivery Now
Step 1 - Book Online:

1. Visit our Pallet Delivery section and select the size that best fits your requirements. We also offer a size of 'oversized options' if your items are particularly large!

(note - please allow for a pallet base and packaging when making your choice)

2. Choose your service based on the size of the pallet you plan to use. We offer a choice of 100x120 or 1202x120. Based on your requirements, you can then choose from economy or premium services.

3. Finalise your booking details, including collection and delivery address, ensuring our couriers have the necessary access at both locations.

4. Pay for your delivery and make a note of the collection date.
Step 2 - Prepare your Pallet:
Choose your pallet - First things first, you will need to load your goods to your pallet. We accept goods weighing up to 1000kg in weight, so it is imperative the pallet is sturdy and fit for purpose. Please also double check that the size of the pallet is the same as the service booked.

Note - we do offer services for larger pallet bases, but not all can be booked instantly via our quick book online tool.
Loading your goods  - Once you have chosen your pallet, we need to load your goods securely onto the pallet. For greater stability, boxes should be stacked in columns with one box directly over the other. To reduce the danger of damage, stick items as close to each other as possible.

Please avoid stacking goods in this way. If your goods are crooked; they risk being refused by the delivery driver for fear of damage.
Avoid overhang - Your goods must be within the size specified at the time of booking. Should an item overhang the pallet base (or indeed the allotted height) you risk being penalised with additional surcharges due to the amount of space your goods now take up.

Also worth noting this reduces the stability and security of your goods and increase the chance of potential damage during transit.
Wrap your goods. All goods should be shrink-wrapped to restrict movement during transit. However, this wrapping doesn’t provide any load securing. Palletised loads must be stable and freestanding before any load securing is applied. Make sure goods are shrink-wrapped or banded to the pallet they’re transported on. Otherwise, they could slide or topple from the pallet.
Ensure goods are given as much protection as possible, by wrapping them in bubble wrap, cardboard etc.
The Collection - Customers must advise us before a collection / delivery if an artic vehicle will struggle with access to the property. Pallets will also tilt, when lifted by forklift, and goods must therefore be stable on the pallet. Collection and delivery must be made from hard standing e.g. No gravel, soil or uneven surfaces.
