1. Most cats love NEON right away and don't have any problem adjusting to the NEON litter.  But if your cat is reluctant to take the first step, cover NEON with a thin layer of its old litter and let your cat do the mixing as it adjust to the new Soft-on-Paws texture of NEON Litter.
2. 3. Where is the smell? GONE!  NEON Litter is made of safe non-toxic silica gel crystals.  The crystals absorb moisture on contact and hold the smells inside.  The crystals also pull moisture from solid waste to help control the associated malodors.

The NEON Clumps are different from Clay clumps

If you scoop the litter box several times per day you will notice the NEON clumps are softer than clumping clay.  NEON Litter is different.  Since Silica Gel Crystals don't clump NEON has an added natural clumping agent made from peapods (GuarGum).  The clumps do not get hard instantly - it takes a few hours.  The good news is because NEON Litter stops odors you only have to scoop a few times per week - Super convenient for you and no smell for your cats.
