To Our NZG Family:

A few weeks ago, we decided to show our support to the Black Lives Matter movement by participating in #BlackOutTuesday. But this was just one small step we wanted to take toward this contributing to this movement.

Since then, we have partnered with an organization in Riverside, CA to coordinate the donation of 100 neck gaiter face masks to the Inland Empire chapter of Black Lives Matter.

We can’t express how ecstatic we were to be able to contribute in a small way to those who spent their personal time protesting for equality, and we wanted to thank our community for helping us grow to a place where we were in a position to help.

This donation was as much yours as it was ours.

We know how awesome of a community we have all created together, which means we also know that many of you are probably looking for ways to get involved or donate yourselves.

We took this opportunity to provide you with some links and information on organizations that are working tirelessly to create a more equitable future for everyone we share this country with.

Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Their mission is to “eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state” and other parties.

Black Lives Matter has local chapters throughout the country that you can get involved with.

Color of Change

Color of Change has a national online force of 1.7 million members. Their mission is to lead “campaigns that build real power for Black communities. We challenge injustice, hold corporate and political leaders accountable, commission game-changing research on systems of inequality, and advance solutions for racial justice that can transform our world.”

Know Your Rights Camp

Founded by Colin Kaepernick, an athlete who was the center of much controversy for kneeling during the national anthem, Know Your Rights Camp’s mission is to “advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.”

We hope that if you were looking for a way to get involved, one of these organizations grabs your attention.
