Fred Perry was a man from Stockport who was pretty good at tennis.

In between winning Career Grand Slams and wooing Hollywood starlets, he also found the time to make some top class, courtside-friendly clobber.

This stuff we’ve got here is from Fred’s ultra-swanky, high-brow Laurel Wreath range. It’s not that much of a departure from Fred’s normal output — it’s just a bit fancier.

Some of it was made in England, and some of it was made in Italy. But wherever it was made, you can bet one thing — it’s still 100% Stockport. Ideal for trips to the Hat Museum and days spent counting bricks on the viaduct.

When it comes to laid-back holiday garb, Boardies really know their apples from their pears.

With those breezy fabrics and relaxed fits, it’s the sort-of thing that reminds us of the golden years of surfing clobber, but thanks to those mind-altering designs, there’s a healthy dose of psychoactive je ne sais quoi too.

Needless to say, it’s very good indeed.
