This Is Not A Waterproof Jacket

Hey Everyone,

We're hitting that season where the weather just can't make up its mind. Winter one day, then a hint of sunshine followed by a wreck of rain. Turbulent times call for balanced garments. With the Supermarine Shell, nature and technology combine to produce our answer.
Let's get this straight; the Supermarine Shell is not a waterproof jacket, for being in torrential rain for days you'll want one of those "waterproof-breathable" jackets that are pretty much highly engineered plastic bags. Supermarine Cotton means that you get a shell that's breathable, completely windproof and highly water resistant. It won't keep you dry for 24hrs in the rain, but it will keep you dry for an hour or two, and for day to day use we've found that to be more than enough.
The Supermarine Shell is quiet, won't clam you up like synthetic laminates, resists odors and is a joy to wear in a large range of temperatures. In other words it's a better rain shell for the way we live our lives here at Outlier and we suspect you might find it works for you as well.

All the best,

Abe, Tyler and the Outlier crew
