Creamy soft merino on the inside, clean and supple cotton on the outside, our Cottonweight merino really is the best of both worlds as the days get cooler. The cherry on top though is just how beautifully it garment dyes. Cotton and wool use separate dyestuffs and take in color differently. This means the cotton exterior and wool interior will always look different, but more importantly because they are knit together small amounts of the wool interior are visible on the front. What this does is create an incredible depth of color as the eye melds the cotton and wool colors together into a richer color that just can't be achieved when dyeing a single fiber.
