CHECK YOUR TREAD DEPTH WITH THE PENNY TEST
If your tire tread wears thin, you will lose stopping power and control. Check your tire tread at home with the penny test. Simply place a penny upside-down, facing you, inside the groove of the tire tread. If you can see Lincoln’s whole head, you need new tires.
CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE WITH HELP FROM THE PROS
Winter brings lower temps, which in turn affect your tire pressure. Your tire pressure drops by 1-2 PSI for every 10 degrees of tire pressure. If you haven’t checked it recently, bring it in and we’ll check and adjust your tire pressure for free.
CHECKING OVERALL CONDITION
Give your tires a quick visual check before hitting the road. Look at the tread and sidewalls for any cuts, scrapes, punctures, bulges, bumps or cracks. If you see anything suspicious, have our Pros take a look.
