Is this your brand on Milled? You can claim it.

Hi ,

Do I need to cleanse in the morning?

I get asked this a lot….

The answer in short is YES but you can alter it from how you do your crucial night time double cleanse. Make sure you watch you free #organicdoublecleanse video showing you how to do this if you haven’t already.

So… wakey wakey, eyes open, you have just woken up. Hopefully not much pollution found it’s way to your bed  but let’s face it you potentially have some drool or dribble, your hair stuck all over your face and when did you last wash that pillow case??....

To the sink - or shower…  just one cleanse is fine. You have only been in bed, there won’t be spf or make up  you because you did such a good job of double cleansing last night- well done you!

Hmmm - if I am in the double cleanse revolution, I have 2 cleanse options - my balm and my creamy milk cleanser so which do I use?

It depends what your plans are for the day..

If you are out all day and wearing make up I would suggest you use the balm  cleanser as it helps skin stay moisturised for longer and will avoid your make up going patchy.

If it is a relax home day with no slap/make up, or ‘Sunday skin’ as I call it, then you can use your balm cleanser or your milk/ lotion whichever your hand touches first!!!

Apply and rinse off or use your cloth. Pat dry with a tissue and then remember to add in your toner step. It is quite nice to get this quickly on while the skin still has a tiny damp element.

That is how you cleanse in the morning.

WIPES - You will notice AM or PM facial wipes are not an option. EVER. Smearing your make up around your face is absurd, if you care about your skin I don’t think they are even viable in a genuine emergency.

FOAMING CLEANSERS - in the bin. Your skin was never meant to feel squeaky clean. I realise you might have become attached to this feeling but I assure you your skin will not give a damn if it never feels like that again. Foam is SLS (sodium Lauyrl sulphate), drying, itchy, eczema enraging and just not nice. Oven cleanser maybe, not your face.

MICELLAR WATERS -  Hmmm, not quite as adamant as I am about the wipes but I would see them as additional to your double cleansing and absolutely not a replacement to a single or a double cleanse. They may be okay if you wear no make up and no SPF (naughty) but are not greasy enough ultimately to really remove anything if you do.

Can't wait to here how you are getting on. Contact on details below anytime.

Love Kirstie x
