Brrr: warm up with winter shooting tips.

Sweater weather, better photos. View this email in your browser Tip #1 Don’t Stop Experimenting You might have heard us say that Polaroid film loves light. (It’s true.) But sometimes it’s too cold to go outside and chase the sun. With the creative modes on the OneStep+, it’s easy to stay indoors and make great photos. You can play with long exposures using Light Painting or Manual mode. Or you can add a filter to your camera lens for some artistic portraits. Go wild. But before you shoot, make sure you let your film warm up to room temperature for at least an hour first. When you’re shooting outside in cold weather, keep your camera close to your body. And make sure you put your developing photos somewhere warm, like your pocket or inside your jacket, especially when temps drop below 13°C / 55°F. Tip #3 Winter in Black & White Scenery not particularly colorful? Best time to use black & white. It's perfect for when you want to add a little drama. And by drama we mean high contrast tones and extra details, obviously. Capture the true spirit of the scene, no filter necessary. i-Type Blackout Film Triple Pack Shop now 600 Blackout Film Triple Pack Shop now SX-70 Blackout Film Triple Pack Shop now Tip #4 Store Them Safely Away Not sure where to put those awesome photos you just took? Two words: Photo Box. It’s great for storing images on the go, and keeping all your Polaroid pictures organized and accessible at home. You can even get one for free right now when you buy a triple pack of film. Yup, that’s right. Just add both items to your cart in our online shop and enter the code PHOTOBOX at checkout. Keep it Cool, Shoot Warm

You should always store those unopened film packs flat in the fridge (ideally between 4 – 18°C / 41 – 65°F).
