Hi -,
Happy New Year! Now that much of North America is now in
winter season, I thought that I would share two new videos with
blog posts on indoor related themes for dogs. The first is a look
at our recent New Year Day dog party where my Roxie had
several of her best doggie friends attend. We've done a few of
these indoor dog events drawing from members of our small
dogs group and we finally have a small group of dogs that are
suitable for an indoor environment.
Not all of our dogs from our small dogs group would do well
in an indoor situation with other dogs so it's a matter of selecting
the friendliest and easy going dogs that get along well with Roxie
as well as other dogs. If you have never considered doing such an
event with your dog, here's where you can see our little video on
what and indoor dog party is like.
New Year Dog Party
Since it's cold season up here in Canada, Roxie and I are spending
a bit less time outside. On really cold days, this is when we still
appreciate all the indoor dog litterbox training Roxie has had ever
since she was a puppy because on such days especially with high
freezing winds, she really does not want to go outside.
But one indoor activity Roxie as well as her late brother Chester
have always been exposed to since puppyhood, is listening to me
play guitar for her. Playing live music is just another type of
experience you can expose your dog to at home and not only
would your pet soon accept it as part of normal home life but maybe
actually learn to enjoy it whenever you entertain your dog with some
live music. We've never shot a video of any of my dogs while I'm
playing music to them until now with Roxie so this will give you
a look at how she reacts to it.
