Het aftellen van naar de opening van de Olympische Spelen van Beijing in 2021 is begonnen.

In verhouding tot de huidige algemene status reizen Olympische atleten later dan normaal naar Beijing. Dit zorgt voor een zorgwekkende situatie. Jetlag en voorbereiding zullen botsen, wat hoogstwaarschijnlijk resulteert in een situatie waarin atleten het moeilijk hebben om zich voor te bereiden op hun races.

Waarom? Voor een groot aantal deelnemers begint het toernooi met een reis naar een ander continent, wat onvermijdelijk resulteert in jetlag. Een groot aantal aan kijkcijfers gerelateerde sporten vindt pas 's avonds laat of' s morgens vroeg plaats. Op zulke momenten zorgt het ritme van dag en nacht ervoor dat het lichaam niet automatisch klaar is voor topprestaties.

Een dag mee met de Mariniers

Op 24 oktober 2020 vond de wereldrecordpoging speedmarsen plaats. Tijdens deze wereldrecordpoging probeerden Nederlandse mariniers het record over te nemen van de Engelse collega's van de Royal Marines.

De recordpoging was een groot succes, de Nederlandse mariniers verbraken het record van de Engelse collega's met maarliefst 18 minuten. Een absoluut succes.

Propeaq heeft bijgedragen aan deze recordpoging tijdens de voorbereiding. Meer over deze poging lees je via onderstaande link.

Als dank voor de begeleiding tijdens de speedmars is CEO Toine Schoutens een dag mee gegaan met de mariniers. Via Den Helder zijn ze naar Texel gevaren, volledig in stijl en dus gekleed in camouflage. Een dag om niet snel te vergeten.

Handelsmissie Dubai

Van 13 tot en met 16 december is Propeaq te vinden op de Expo in Dubai.

Aan deze Expo zullen 190 landen deelnemen in verschillende thematische paviljoenen.

Het Nederlandse paviljoen zal tijdens de Expo laten zien wat Nederland te bieden heeft op het gebied van sport. Verschillende onderwerpen, van ondersteuning tijdens sport tot stadionbouw zullen aan bod komen tijdens dit evenement.

Het vijfdaagse programma van de NL Sports Week zal onder andere bestaan uit business meetings, matchmaking, seminars, demonstraties / clinics, workshops en bedrijfsbezoeken. Ook zullen in het paviljoen diverse Nederlandse producten en innovaties te zien zijn.

The countdown to the opening of the Beijing Olympic Games in 2021 has started.

In relation to the current overall status, Olympic athletes are traveling to Beijing later than usual. This creates a concerning situation. Jetlag and preparation will collide, most likely resulting in a situation in which athletes have a difficult time preparing for their races.

Why? For a large number of participants, the tournament starts with a trip to another continent, which inevitably results in jet lag. A large number of sports related to viewing figures only take place late in the evening or early in the morning. At such times, the rhythm of day and night ensures that the body is not automatically ready for peak performance.

A day with the Dutch Marines

The world record attempt speed marching took place on October 24, 2020. During this world record attempt, Dutch marines tried to take over the record from their English colleagues from the Royal Marines.

The record attempt was a great success, the Dutch marines broke the record of their English colleagues by no less than 18 minutes. An absolute success.

As a thank you for the guidance during the speed march, CEO Toine Schoutens went with the marines for a day. They sailed to Texel via Den Helder, completely in style and therefore dressed in camouflage. A day not soon to be forgotten.

Trade mission to Dubai

Propeaq will be attending the Expo in Dubai from 13 to 16 December.

190 countries will participate in this Expo in different thematic pavilions.

During the Expo, the Dutch pavilion will show what we, the Netherlands, have to offer in the field of sports. Various topics, from sports support to stadium construction, will be attended during this event.

The five-day program of the NL Sports Week will include business meetings, matchmaking, seminars, demonstrations / clinics, workshops and company visits. Various Dutch products and innovations will also be on display in the pavilion.
