Top story: New law guarantees decent homes

The Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Bill has passed through Parliament and received Royal Assent, making it law. The Bill means that it will be a requirement for all social and private landlords - and agents acting on their behalf- in England to ensure that a property is fit for Human Habitation at the beginning and throughout the duration of a tenancy
