First off, what is coding?

Coding is the process of using a programming language to get a computer to behave how you want. Every symbol and line you type tells the computer something. Computers are very obedient and make extremely accurate mistakes.

Is Coding like Learning to Drive?

Forget coding for just a minute, and think of how we learn any needed skill.
The recipe is:

Purpose (can be developed along the way)
Perseverance, a plan/schedule to keep at it
Support / Mentors
Grab the reigns and get started.

The biggest thing is to be confident and don't worry about making mistakes. Students can customize any part of our lessons with their own designs and code. The best way to learn is to try and code your own ideas! That's where we want to get you. Our curriculum pathway is the method we use to give you the confidence needed. We want you to code your own ideas (I know we already said that it's our main goal and is the best way to learn).

The lessons are a resource and something you can continually look back on!
