"Black Lives Matter - Dear Community, Slumberkins exists to support families in raising resilient, caring, and confident children. We focus on providing resources for parents and their little ones to assist in processing and accepting all emotions to help children have access to adaptive beliefs and the deep knowledge grounded in positivity, love, and connection. We strive to offer resources and tools that are trauma-informed. This means in order to access learning and healing, we must first be physically and emotionally safe. We recognize that the history of systemic racism and white supremacy in this country has been traumatizing Black people for generations. The most recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and all those who suffered before them have highlighted, again, that Black people in this country are not safe. "
