Fred Perry has been at the forefront of the casuals scene since their incpetion. The idea for the logo, the laurel wreath, was based on the original Wimbledon symbol. It is now one of the most recognised logos worldwide. The next idea for the label was to produce a sports shirt, and hence the signature Fred Perry polo shirt was created. Launched at Wimbledon in 1952 the polo became an immediate success & the brand Fred Perry as we know it was born.
Always aware of their heritage, Fred Perry have included some very nice knit polos via their Reissues collection. This collection brings a heavy dose of vintage style straight out of the 60s that has a wear ability factor that the modern wearer will love. The lightweight shirts, polos & jackets from the collection make for a great alternative to t-shirts or regular polos this season with an added smartness without going overboard.
