Is this your brand on Milled? You can claim it.

It's me! I'm here!

Hello, Mine Spring Maidens So Fair!

Hope you are enjoying everything that this brief and bold life has offered up to you this glorious April. I, for one, have had 3 cups of coffee in 2 hours and am so dang excited to type for you all I can barely contain myself. Fingers, man! They’re so useful!

BIG BOLD NEWS: We’ve been nominated for a WEBBY! If you feel so inclined, you can vote for us here. I’d be ever so pleased if you did!

This week Harling talked sweater trends and easy makeup looks. Leandra wants to know your online shopping secrets. Emma shared her Spring Insta style inspiration and interviewed three amazing tattoo artists. Haley examined success. And Ruby created Gucci looks without Gucci.

Things that we are excited about this week:

Harling bought these shoes, which are designed specifically for running in the city, and LOVES them. She also recs this super interesting (but kind of a bummer) article from the NYT.  She is also responsible for spreading the very good word of the Brother Vellies sample sale, happening this weekend in Brooklyn. Please RSVP for address information at

I’m reading LOT by Bryan Washington and it is so very good. I want all of these weird alien phone cases. I love this video of Bon Appetit test kitchen folks trying out ASMR. The segment with Andy and citrus is electrifying.

Some skincare updates from one Elizabeth Tamkin: “I got a facial from Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and my facialist suggested I try these Dr. Dennis Gross pads which I USED to steal from my mom so many years ago and I’ve been using for only a week and am so so pleased with fewer breakouts and all around clearer skin. Amazon has them for cheapest.”

Amalie’s pick is this bonkers looking zombie movie with an incredible cast.

Haley has three recommendations, each special in their own way:

-Staying in a hotel by yourself.
-This ASMR article also from the NYT.
The Dropout and Dr. Death, stating, “They were both recommended to me as ‘addicting podcasts that would get me through a bunch of chores’ and I can confirm they were just that.”

Starling recommends Understudy, strongly suggesting that you pair it with a trip to the Alamo Drafthouse.

That’s all for now, see yous guys next week!
