Can I Interest You in a Statement Winter Coat?

I've got my eye on this brown one.

On New Year’s Day, somewhere between eating breakfast and cuddling my dog for the umpteenth time, I asked myself what I wanted to accomplish in 2019. It was a heavy question and one I couldn’t answer immediately. I want to be brave, to experiment and forgive myself more, to de-fingerprint my windows — you know, the usual stuff. When I opened my closet, I immediately tacked on a subsequent question: Who do I want to be in 2019, and how do I want to express it through clothes? Okay, that was two questions — but regardless, once my brain wheels started turning, a litany of outfit ideas and the various components I would need to make them a reality began to populate. See what I mean below.

A new statement coat for the rest of winter (bonus that it's on sale!)
A sleek pair of trousers that are actually leggings to avoid midday denim discomfort. They're less than $100!
A sweater that I could easily wear every day.
A pair of chunky boots that I would love to wear with the above leggings
Or wow-wee these would be so great with said leggings and a cool shirt.
Said shirt!
I finally found the perfect gold chain I've been hunting for (if you didn't know, now you know).
And I'm wrapping it up with a literal bow (to be worn in my hair).
