Flirt a Little, Shop a Little, Self-Reflect a Little

U Up?

Oh. Hello.

‘Tis time once again to gather round ye olde hearth and listen to the bard (me) tell tales of great heroism (also me) and mysticism our mortal minds can barely begin to grasp (horoscopes). Listen as we sing a song of a great leader forging a brave new path (Michelle Obama), the joys of flirting like a maiden in springtime (breadcrumbing) and the surprising wells from which comfort springs (really white ’90s movies). *plays lute, dances around in some weird shoes*

Leandra went to Paris to close out fashion month and saw some impressive shows and the street style more than delivered.

And for your shopping pleasure, Harling picked out a few of the gems from the JW Anderson X Uniqlo collab. Julianna graciously shared a few of her fave small brands. Harling and Eliz introduced jacket sandwiches and my life has never been the same.

Deep inhale, big exhale. It’s time for some picks!!!

Head over to Cup of Jo to join the age-old debate: do you fart in front of your partner?

Well, well, well. Look who it is! (It’s Crystal)

Harling recs Chillhouse’s new membership program, “it’s a great way to get a discount on their massages, which are some of the best in New York if you want a service that isn’t crazy expensive but still has *some* frills (nice ambience, great playlist, caring and talented staff, etc.)”

She also recs this face wash from Alchimie Forever. “Great for sensitive skin (I’m super picky because I’m so prone to redness) and comes in a fun bottle that you can squeeze out like ketchup!!”

Harling + Louisiana recommend Conversations With Friends by Sally Rooney.

“I went on an epic search for the perfect tie-dye sweatshirt in my size and came across this shop on Etsy called MashaApparel. They have unisex sizing that goes up to 2x! I picked out this one, but there are so many other fun pieces to choose from – socks, bags, tshirts, sweatshirts etc to make all of your tie-dye dreams come true.”- Emily Z.

Crystal picked these Sacai x Nike sneakers and now I want them too!

Amalie recs J. Hannah jewelry and this dog that hates germs. Amalie contains multitudes!

Matt recommends this good news and Gloria Bell, which comes out this weekend. And not to be that guy, but I saw the Chilean movie it’s based off of a few years ago and it was FANTASTIC so this movie is gonna be gooooooood.

Emma suggests getting your butt to the theater to see By the Way, Meet Vera Stark at Signature Theatre, calling it “a cultural extravaganza not to be missed.” And if you can’t make it in time you can read it here.

I am truly, madly, deeply in love with my Brooklinen robe, it makes me feel like I have my life together even when I’m doing un-together things. I’ve also been getting lost on the Nuevayorkinos Instagram page. And finally I’ll be out of town but everyone else should go to this Astrocartography workshop at HealHaus!

I’d like to leave you with this: Has anyone figured out the exact water to olive ratio? Like they say you should drink a glass of water for every cup of coffee you have, but how much water for how many olives???? I feel like no matter how much I hydrate the olives always best me. Please advise. Also please send olives.

Ta-ta for now muh bebes
