today's offer
2019 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Frisson: a sudden strong feeling of excitement, a thrill.

Like that feeling you get when the first guitar riff on “Money For Nothing” hits.

Or when this 94 point Napa Cab hits your lips.

Then you see the price ($51 RIGHT BACK IN YOUR POCKET!)

And the mood shifts from slightly frissoned to POSITIVELY VALENCED!!! Piloerections everywhere (goosebumps, people!). We celebrate like we’re in the control room and just landed on the moon.

Frisson has been one of our most popular wines ever. They simply over-deliver BIG TIME. Check out those ratings!

Fair warning though - the last three offers sold out. Like, within hours.

Terry Davis came to Napa and like many visitors, started dreaming of making wine here. And lucky for us, his dream became a reality we can all share. All Frissons are straight-up irresistible, and we think this might be the biggest crowd pleaser yet. We love it. You love it. And everybody wins at this price.

This has all that Napa richness and opulent decadence you crave. Dripping with ripe red and black fruit, it’s STACKED and PACKED. Cassis and red currant, or maybe that fancy mixed berry jam from Stonewall Kitchen. Some Tahitian vanilla bean and cocoa, lightly roasted coffee beans, and blackberry liqueur. All warm and flowing with super soft tannins and a beautiful plush texture.

Man, the price!?! That’s just HOW WE DO. No need to say, “thank you!” - just reallocate your decorative gourd funds, taper your PSL purchases, and lock as much down as possible.

We do it just for the frisson. But we’ll accept Goldbelly orders if you insist (Maine lobster rolls please).

94 Points – The Tasting Panel

“Grown on 40-year-old vines and aged for 18 months in (60% new) French oak, this distinctive small-production Cab includes 10% Merlot. High-toned notes of mint chocolate have chalky undertones, while cigar leaf, blackberry preserves, and graphite lend panache.”

92 Points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

“Frisson’s 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon features hints of sage and bay leaf accenting black cherries and raspberries. It’s full-bodied and a bit broader than the 2018, with more suppleness as well. Long, with a soft dusting of tannins on the finish, it should drink well for a decade or more. Drink 2022-2035.”
