Madeline made this gorgeous Siren Sundress for Maisie using our Blooming Garland Poplin in Red, and the finished product is nothing less than pure, vintage fabulousness!

However, this stylish wrap dress was no easy make. Madeline had to overcome a fair number of obstacles to make this classic masterpiece. Lucky for you, she's written all about it!

A Rayon Demonstration
Rayon is an awesome textile! Slinky, soft, and drapey - there's nothing better than a stylish dress made from you're favorite rayon!

But the very traits that make rayon so fun to wear are the same traits that can make it tricky to sew with!

Days for Girls International is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide women, girls & people who menstruate with access to reusable menstrual products.

For many young girls, the difference between getting an education and dropping out of school is a reusable, menstrual hygiene kit.

The Missoula Days for Girls Team - run by the lovely Jen Elison and Keesha Cane - would love to turn your leftover fabric into reusable hygiene kits!

They're seeking double brushed cotton flannel and quilting cotton in colorful, stain-hiding patterns. Between now and November 1st, you can drop your leftover fabric in the donation bin located at The Confident Stitch!
