What does the future hold for London’s bars and pubs?
Chances are you’ve recently walked past a favourite local pub, stopped in your tracks and just stared at it in mute melancholy. It’s hard to fathom that we’ve been without our warm, noisy alco-havens since March 20. It’s harder still to imagine what life may be like for them once they reopen*. Well, you don’t have to imagine. We’ve asked around and worked out what pubs and bars could look like once the booze begins to flow again.

*Just typing the word ‘reopen’ was a thrill, by the way.

Apparently burgers can be improved
We rounded up a greasy handful of chefs and asked them for tips on levelling up a home-delivered hamburger. Because, as consistent as the whole bun-cheese-meat-bun thing usually is, sometimes one arrives that could do with a bit of pepping up. Who doesn’t love pep? Get ready for multiple references to ‘meat juices’ and that eternal kitchen
fave tabasco.
