Tracksmith - New England

Dear Runners,

When we launched Hare A.C. in 2018, we had a vision for building a global community of committed runners, united by a passion for teamwork and racing. Seeing that community take form and grow over the past several years has been incredibly exciting. We’ve had the joy of meeting many members in person at Hare A.C. events and virtually through our Hare A.C. Slack channel and Talking Running series. The entire Tracksmith team draws personal inspiration from the hundreds of PR Bonus submissions that we receive. Hare A.C. was always intended to be a meaningful community tied by a shared love of the sport and its culture, and so we’re honored that so many of you have joined us for the journey.

While we’re proud of how far this community has come, we also knew that the first few years would simply be a starting point, laying the foundation for where we wanted to go and how we could more deeply connect the global running community. We spent the last year thinking critically about our offerings – testing experiences, refining our benefits and directly asking the community for their thoughts. We introduced a Slack channel, launched our Talking Running Series and reframed the way we offer PR Bonuses in an era of time trials and virtual racing.

That experimentation has inspired us to give the program its biggest refresh to date. In addition to the continuation of those recent program additions, we’re also adding a number of additional benefits. First and foremost, members have told us that they value their prioritized Tracksmith shopping experience, so in addition to the continued early access to new collection launches, we are providing members with unlimited free shipping. Additionally, we know that Hare A.C. members seek inspiration, so all members will exclusively receive a subscription to a completely redesigned and more substantial Meter Magazine. Also, because our sport is one in which the journey is more meaningful than the destination, all Hare A.C. members will receive a leather-bound training journal so they can document their own running journeys. We also plan to offer more access to our in-house experts, like Mary Cain, Nick Willis, and Steve Finley, to help you with your own training and racing. Of course, we’re incredibly excited about the return of racing and in-person gatherings and cannot wait to roll out the red carpet to Hare A.C. members at our marathon events in Chicago, Boston and New York this Fall.

Those new offerings are in addition to the current membership benefits, such as the PR Bonus and prioritized product access, but we won’t stop there and will continue to look for more ways to build our community.

Because we are making significant investments in the membership experience, we do need to increase the membership cost to $198. However, we strongly believe that the refreshed Hare A.C. program will offer significantly more value than the current version. If you’ve been looking for a new way to engage more deeply with the sport and for support from our team as you pursue your goals, Hare A.C. is for you. I hope you’ll consider joining us now or in the future.

Sincerely,
Matt
