2022 was an incredibly eventful year for the Treehouse. Following the company’s acquisition in late 2021, we went on a hiring spree, expanding teams in almost every department. I’m particularly proud of the fact that several of our new team members are Techdegree graduates themselves!
Our 2022 Treehouse Developer Survey attracted a huge response, with thousands of students from around the globe offering valuable insights into the tech industry and what technology is on their radar for 2023. JavaScript, React, Python, UI/UX Design, SQL, HTML, and CSS were all identified as topics of great interest, sentiment which closely matches our own learning metrics on TeamTreehouse.com. Along the way we continued investing heavily in our curriculum, publishing among others extensive React and Python updates, a brand new TypeScript course, and making literally thousands of improvements to existing content.
In 2023, we’ll continue building on last year’s incredible momentum. In addition to many new planned curriculum updates, we’re committed to helping our students navigate the interview process and even assist with job placement.
