Welcome to the new and updated newsletter, the Treehouse Monthly! Once a month, we’ll send you the latest updates regarding our new content and other services.
What's New!
Treehouse Has Been Acquired!
Treehouse was acquired in December, 2021. You can read more about the acquisition on our blog.
Since the acquisition we've been on a hiring tear, and hard at work improving and expanding our content. We're also expanding into playing matchmaker for not only students seeking entry-level employment opportunities in the tech industry, but also for employers in search of motivated candidates interested in joining apprenticeship programs.
We are thrilled to deepen our relationships with amazing organizations such as AnitaB.org, Operation Code, and the West Virginia Coding Club, and have been helping libraries around the country more effectively promote Treehouse availability to their patrons.
We will never waver on our commitment to providing high quality, low cost technology instruction to anyone who wants to become a programmer or designer, and thank you for being part of the Treehouse community.
Over the past few months we've had many conversations with the Treehouse community, and many students asked about career assistance.
In response, we're launching a series of new services dedicated to helping students find ideal employment opportunities. The Treehouse job board (https://teamtreehouse.com/jobs) quietly launched last week, and includes three entry-level job opportunities made available in conjunction with our partner Haystack (https://www.haystackapp.io/). All three are full-time positions for a junior backend developer, associate software engineer, and a really interesting apprenticeship program.

We're looking for instructors!
Do you love JavaScript with the intensity of a thousand suns? Swoon over React? Can't get enough of VueJS? We're looking for a full-time JavaScript instructor who can create and update all kinds of JavaScript-oriented content for the Treehouse community.
This is a 100% remote position, and you'll work with a fun and dedicated team devoted to helping students around the world become proficient software developers. Interested? Contact us at [email protected]!
We're also looking for guest instructors! If you have a passion for teaching others about topics such as web development, databases, data science, Python, PHP, or design, we want to meet you!
