Flourishing gardens for South Sudan’s refugees
Photostory about an innovative permagarden project
The typical image of a refugee camp doesn’t usually consist of flourishing green gardens, abundant with crops. Yet these stunning photos show exactly that. This innovative permagarden project is providing hope for refugees who have fled from South Sudan’s harrowing conflict.

Trócaire CEO honoured at Irish Women’s Awards
Caoimhe de Barra has won the Services to Charity Award
‚ÄúIt is a huge honour to receive this award,‚ÄĚ said Caoimhe. ‚ÄúIt is recognition of the incredible work done by women in the communities we work in around the world. Women are disproportionately affected by poverty and injustice so supporting women leaders in communities is central to Tr√≥caire‚Äôs work."

Game Changers 2020 competition launched
Create a game. Change the world.
Trócaire Game Changers is a competition for young people and youth workers who want to change the world and believe games are a way to do this. Board games, card games and video games can be entered.

Games submitted must explore one of three themes: Climate Justice, Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
