UK-based lampshade designer, Alice Palmer, walks us through her affinity for the simple details that make a home feel warm. From starting out making lampshades for her loved ones as gifts, to fulfilling orders from her kitchen with two kids running around, to eventually finding a space, an intern, and a women-owned textile mill, Alice was able to learn on the job and grow her passion into a business.
