Hi,

Yesterday's video, "Practice," started with the foundation of your novel writing journey: establishing a writing habit you can count on. Thank you to those who shared your responses to the video—and special appreciation to the person who described how she wakes up and writes every single morning. That inspired us!

With that foundation in place, today's video is all about "Process": how you move through telling your story.

We've got a lot of advice for both Plotters, who structure their novels in advance, and Pantsers, who let the story unfold as they write. If one approach sounds a lot more appealing to you as you watch, it may be a clue to try it yourself.

You can watch "Process" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqdLWhYkWsI

So, what works for your writing process? Are you more of a Plotter or a Pantser? (Or a Plantser?) Please share your thoughts in the video comments, or reply to this email.

I hope you're having a good Friday!

—Fred
