2. Always make sure you have tested your swim kit and googles before an event
3. If you suffer from the cold, try wearing 2 swim caps to keep the heat
4. Don’t forget to hydrate, warm up with some stretches/ light swimming and cool down after your swim. Make sure you get changed quickly, and get warm to avoid hyperthermia
