"Why is my child like this?"

Hi ,
Here's something that surprised me when I first learned it.
When adults don't get enough sleep, we get quiet. Slow. We yawn, we drag, we want to lie down.
When kids don't get enough sleep, they get loud. Emotional. Defiant. They hit, they cry over nothing, they can't focus, they have meltdowns that seem completely out of proportion to whatever set them off.
Sleep deprivation in children doesn't look like tiredness. It looks like behaviour problems.
The tantrums that come from nowhere. The aggression towards siblings. The child who falls apart completely because their toast was cut the wrong way. The one who can't sit still at dinner or settle at bedtime even though they're exhausted.
Most parents assume this is just a phase, or a personality trait, or something they're doing wrong.
A lot of the time it's sleep.
A child who isn't sleeping enough isn't getting the overnight window their brain needs to regulate emotions, consolidate what they've learned, and reset their nervous system for the next day. Without that reset, everything is harder. Bigger. More overwhelming.
The good news is that when sleep improves, a lot of the behaviour tends to improve with it. Often quickly.
Our Junior's Bedtime Lotion was made for exactly this. The same transdermal magnesium that helps you sleep during pregnancy, reformulated for your child's skin. Applied before bed, it helps little muscles relax and little nervous systems wind down so that overnight reset can actually happen.
1,818 parents have reviewed it. You already know what they say.
