Northern Exposure 2
This week in the dye studio
In 1997, Sasha & Digweed released Northern Exposure 2 — a double-CD concept album mapping two journeys, one through the East Coast and one through the West.
This colorway is our love letter to the album art of the East Coast edition. Ice-dyed by hand in our studio, the ice-meets-dye melts a little differently every time. No two come out alike, and yours is genuinely one of one.
Even though we’ve been based in LA for decades, our teenaged selves hailed from the mid-Atlantic. Before we got into punk and indie rock, we were first and foremost club kids, sneaking into Fever at The Paradox in Baltimore and Buzz in DC, nights at Limelight and a million other places we weren’t supposed to be. With every Northern Exposure shirt we make, there’s a tiny piece of our bleary, beat loving, adolescent adventures, windows down with the night air pouring in. Here’s to getting a little lost on our way to being found.
