President Trump's number one priority is forcing Congress to pass an extreme voter suppression bill. And right now, he's grinding our government to a halt – refusing to sign other bills that could actually help people unless the SAVE Act passes.

We're fighting just as hard to make sure this bill never gets that far. Together, we've sent over 200,000 messages urging our lawmakers to reject the Save Act and its undemocratic, anti-voter show-your-papers requirements.

This bill is fueled by conspiracy theories and lies about our elections – when in reality, it could keep millions from voting. As President Trump tries to force his will on Congress, we're urging our lawmakers to refuse to give in.

The Save Act could silence millions of eligible voters. It would require you to produce citizenship paperwork in person just to register to vote, effectively end accessibility measures like online voter registration, and severely restrict vote-by-mail.

You'd need to travel to an election office to present your birth certificate, passport, or naturalization papers just to register or update your registration – documents tens of millions of Americans don't have easy access to. If you changed your name for any reason, like after getting married, you'd need to update those documents to match to avoid additional barriers – forcing you to pay up to hundreds of dollars for a multi-week process just to get the papers to register to vote.

This is voter suppression, plain and simple. President Trump and the proponents of the Save Act want to make it as hard as possible for you to vote – and we can't let them get away with it.

Protect voters: Tell Congress to block the Save Act for good.
