On Thursday 27 June, we will once again be running our annual fundraising promotion, Action Cream Teas in a box. A wonderfully delicious and simple idea, we pick and pack two yummy scones, pairing them with tasty Tiptree strawberry preserve and indulgent Roddas Clotted Cream. And throw in Yorkshire tea to wash it all down with, before delivering it directly to your door.  

It's a brilliant way to get together with colleagues whilst supporting our work. 

Freya's story

Freya was born three months early weighing just 2lbs 4oz after her mum Steph developed a life-threatening pregnancy complication.

Her first months of life were a rollercoaster of encouraging progress and terrifying setbacks. But thankfully little Freya, now nearly two, recovered each time, gained weight, and was finally allowed home after nine weeks weighing 4lb 5oz.

Action is dedicated to helping premature babies like Freya and you can help too – one scone at a time.

Did you know...?

• Annually, around 61,000 babies are born prematurely in the UK, yet still little is known about causes and prevention.

• Tragically, more than 1,000 babies die in the UK each year after being born too soon.
  
  
• Approximately 86,000 babies spend a few days or more in neonatal units each year in the UK.

By ordering Action Cream Teas you can help find the causes of premature birth and other birth complications, and develop new treatments.

How to order

Head on over to the website to order your cream tea, at only £6.50 per box, (minimum order of 10) and we'll take care of the rest!

Remember to order by Friday 14 June and let us know if you require any gluten free scones on the order form.

Our team of wonderful volunteers will lovingly pick and pack your order ready to be delivered direct to your door on Thursday 27 June.
