Developed with our Accessibility Advisory Committee and our Employee Resource Group, the new plan sets a clear, accountable path toward more accessible travel with better services and stronger employee training.

Helping service dogs get cabin‑ready

Our new Cabin-Ready Canines program offers a new certification option to owner‑trained service dogs and others to assess their readiness for Air Canada operated flights, ensuring clearer expectations before reaching the airport.

More comfort, support and choice on board

From manual transfer slings to additional passenger lifts, we're investing in equipment and training that give customers who need transfer assistance more comfort and choice throughout their journey.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program

A sunflower lanyard allows customers to voluntarily share with our employees that they have a non‑visible disability and may need more time, assistance or understanding during their trip.

Air Canada’s expanded Accessibility Advisory Committee

The committee brings together people with lived experience of disability and representatives from accessibility organizations to inform and shape how accessibility services are delivered.
