Dry Shampoo is a powder you apply to your roots to absorb oil, refresh hair, and add volume without washing.

It helps you skip daily shampooing by extending time between washes, keeping hair and scalp feeling clean on busy days, after workouts, or while traveling.

Here's how to apply Akamai Dry Shampoo.​

Most commercial dry shampoos come in aerosol cans or spray bottles (not great for the environment) and are loaded with suspect chemicals.

Ours is different. It's a finely milled, natural powder — and once you get the hang of it, you'll never go back.

Here are a few tips:

• Use a dense makeup brush
  Dip a dense makeup brush into the powder, tap off any excess over the jar, and gently dab it onto your scalp, focusing on oily areas. Repeat as needed.
  
  

• Or apply with your fingertips
  You can also dip a finger into the jar, pick up a small amount of powder, and massage it directly into your scalp. As a bonus, that gentle scalp massage helps stimulate circulation and can support healthy hair growth.
  
  

• Blend it in
  Once the oil has been absorbed, use your brush or fingertips to distribute any remaining powder until it blends seamlessly into your hair.
  
  

• Remember: less is more
  Our formula is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Start with a small amount and add more only if needed. It's easier to add more powder than to remove excess, so begin lightly and build as you go.

• No nasty chemicals, such as parabens, PEGs, BHA, mineral oils, synthetic fragrances, etc.
