A historic milestone is on the horizon, and we’re celebrating the best way we know how: with great food. This week, America’s Test Kitchen launches America’s Potluck, a delicious journey through 50 states and the dishes that have become part of their culinary identity.

We spent months assembling a recipe collection of pure Americana, ensuring every state is represented through research, expert input, conversations with locals, and plenty of debate among our editors and test cooks. Ultimately, we landed on a mix of state classics, iconic city staples, and one-of-a-kind dishes that everyone should know about. The America’s Potluck collection, available on our app and website, is a delicious salute to two and a half centuries of American cooking.
