The Rubik's Cube was modeled after his jaw, and among men that can't stop looking at other men that aren't wearing clothes, he's considered to have one of the best bodies in the world.

Seid recently bulked up to build more muscle he didn't need. He started with a "normal" bulk for four months followed by a "dirty" bulk for two months.
β
During a normal bulk, you try to gain mostly muscle. You know you're going to gain some fat, but you try to minimize the damage. During a dirty bulk, however, you try to gain as much weight and size as you can with no regard for fat gain. You're less careful with both what and how much you eat. (Seid also said, during his dirty bulk, he stopped doing cardio.)
β
All told, he gained forty pounds in six months. Here's what he looked like after his bulk was finished:

He stopped bulking because he was worried about his health. His blood pressure skyrocketed to instant-death levels, which is somewhat strange considering he didn't get that fat. He had a lower body-fat percentage than most of the shoppers I see in the supermarket. The majority of men would inhabit his six-month-bulk body faster than you can say "I consider myself the majority of men."

Seeing a guy like Seid get fat during a bulk made me happy. Guys like him usually gain a respectable amount of muscle in minimal time with little (if any) fat gain when they bulk. They're like baguettes. They're born thin and have never been fat in their lives.
My smile sunk below sea level when Seid revealed he didn't gain much (if any) fat after his four-month "normal" bulk, which is when the picture below was taken.

Guys like Seid anchored my bulking expectations when I was a noob. I thought I'd start bulking and gain noticeable amounts of muscle while stating lean.
Never unfolded that way. I always gained just as much fat as I did muscle. Sometimes, I even gained more fat than muscle. In hindsight, I might have been eating too much. Can't say for sure, though.
Things didn't really take off for me until I stopped trying to build muscle without getting fat and, instead, I started to actively combat the fat I was gaining during the bulk.
My strategy was less about gaining muscle without getting fat and more about dealing with the fat gain in a time-efficient manner to give the illusion of gaining fat-free muscle.
Chronic calorie surpluses aren't my friend. I have to sprinkle deficit days into the mix. If you want my playbook, check out Two Meal Muscle:

I haven't bulked since, like, 2016. I might in a few months. Putting some finishing touches on my new program. I'm a fish out of water. I'm doing fresh exercises, like the guillotine press. Even doing some exercise I "invented" myself, like murder rows. Doing tons of 20 rep sets. Going to failure often. Gonna take a few weeks (months?) to acclimate to everything. Once I do, I might bulk again. We'll see.
